Easter Crafts

Olivia and I completed some Easter crafts together the other day. Can you believe her bunny drawing? I think she is a natural artist...of course I am her PROUD mommy!
The lilies are made from Olivia's handprint, green paper, yellow pipe cleaners, and some Starbucks straws. (I knew my love of this coffee company would pay off sooner or later.) They really do look quite real. I think we will make a few more and try adding them to our table for decoration. Happy Easter!

Easter Fun

Nothing could be better than an afternoon of MESSY Easter egg dying and cookie baking with my favorite gal. Are you amazed at how we so perfectly formed a little pink bunny inside each scrumptious cookie? We are professionals here, and we don't give away our baking secrets!

Fancy Nancy Party

Olivia and Madison went to a Fancy Nancy Party today at a bookstore. The girls dressed in their fanciest attire (that's fancy for clothes). Olivia was super excited about this...anything to wear a dress and some "high heel" shoes.
The party started with the reading of the story Fancy Nancy. The girls loved it and listened very attentively (that's fancy for they paid attention). Then, they learned to repeat some very fancy french words that I am sure will come in handy in day to day life. Bonjour, Qui, Cava, Merci, Chien, Chat, Parapluie, Maison....I guess I even picked up a thing or two during the lesson.
After the lanaguage lesson, the staff had set up crafts and games around the children's section. Olivia played hopscotch, hula-hooped, blew bubbles. and colored a Nancy masterpiece (that's fancy for picture).
The party ended with the world's fanciest tea party in the store's cafe. Polite, totally fancified girls nibbled sweet treats and drank "tea punch" out of little tea cups....without spilling a single drop (hee hee). Olivia absolutely adored it!!!! (That's fancy for she thought it was pretty cool!)
