Makeover Night

So Olivia came up with the fun idea of playing makeover... complete with rollers, blush, eyeshadow, and lip gloss. Suddenly, my bathroom was her own personal salon, and I was the beautician rolling up her hair in my high school curlers. The magazine she read while she was waiting for the rollers to set was certainly a nice added touch.

Voila! My hair masterpiece.

Then for Olivia the fun really started. She found her little palette of makeup, and Mommy the Makeup Artist turned her into a STAR!

I hate to say it but even with turquoise eyeshadow and glitter lip gloss she looks sooooooo cute!

Saturday Pool Party

Outside our window the grass is still covered with something cold and white. The trees are still bare and the bushes still brown. But....

Inside our house it's a 90 degree summer's day. It's a perfect day to put on that suit, blow up your beach ball, and have a beach party. Sunscreen anyone???

Twins

Today for church Kit and Olivia dressed in their matching outfits (that Nana made). They looked pretty cute. Olivia was stopped by every other person on her way into the sanctuary. Everyone was wanting to take a look at the look alikes. I know that Olivia loved all the attention. You could tell by the look on her face and the swagger in he stride that she felt so "cool!"

Beauty Sleep

Check out Olivia's sleeping beauty mask. Olivia's mimi bought her some new Fancy Nancy pajamas a few weekends ago. Olivia wanted them because of this silky sleeping mask. Surprisingly, she wears it a lot and looks mighty cute when she does! ZZZZZZzzzz!

Bathtub Melodies

Yes....that's right. You do not need to adjust your computer. Olivia is sitting fully clothed in a bathtub filled with musical instruments. This is another way that we chose to entertain ourselves on our school's two snow days. For all that were able to snatch up a ticket for this incredible show....consider yourselves lucky! Miss Olivia Hannah Montana only performs her bathtub concerts on special occasions.

Snow Day

Today school was called off this morning at 5:50. I was a bit disappointed because I dread making up the day on a day that I would have been excited to have off. But...oh well. Olivia and I did have a good day sleeping in, eating breakfast in bed, watching cartoons, putting on Hannah Montana shows in the bathtub, and playing outside in the snow. We built our first snowman of the winter. It took awhile but after a few hours it is still standing outside Olivia's room. We shall see if he lasts in the windy weather tonight! All in all it was a great relaxing day even if we do have to make it up later...time with the family is worth it!

Superbowl Decorations

Olivia and I decorated the house for our own family Superbowl party. We made blue and white paper chains, Colts party hats, and signs. Olivia painted the large Superbowl Party

sign herself. Even if Olivia and I do not stay awake for the whole game--- we still had fun showing our team spirit with homemade decorations! GO COLTS!!!
